You know you’ve got a fishing pole gathering dust somewhere. I know we’ve got a couple in the corner of the garage that haven’t seen sunlight in years. Maybe it’s time those poles saw a little action.
On June 2-3, 2018, you can partake in FREE outdoor activities at Johnson County Park & Recreation’s Fishing, Boating and Archery Weekend. That means no fishing permit or license required. Permit requirements for boating and archery will also be waived that weekend.
Please note that trout permits are still required if fishing for trout at Shawnee Mission and Kill Creek Park lakes.
