School’s almost out, but you still might be able to get your kids interested in learning about science at the Johnson County Library’s fourth annual Family Science Night. The free event’s on Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Central Resource Library, 9875 W. 87th St. in Overland Park, Kansas.
Featured events include:
- QR Code Scavenger Hunt: Use your cell phone to explore the library and solve puzzles. Visit www.jocolibrary.org/sciencenight for information on how to load a QR code reader on your phone prior to the event.
- Summer Reading Kickoff! Pick up a reading log and learn how to make a splash with summer reading.
