Kids can make a splash this year during a special Easter egg hunt.
On Friday, March 27, The View Community Center in Grandview is holding an Easter Egg Dive for kids ages 2-12 years. Admission is FREE.
Kids dive into the pool and race one another to gather as many eggs as possible. At the end of the race, eggs are turned in for candy. There is also a special egg to be found and redeemed for a full Easter Basket.
Kids 8 and younger need to have a parent with them in the pool at all times. Life jackets are available.
The event is from 6 to 8 p.m. Here’s the schedule. You’ll need to arrive 15 minutes early to check in before your child’s age group time:
- 6 p.m: ages 2-4
- 6:20 p.m.: ages 5-8
- 6:40 p.m.: ages 9-12
After the Easter egg hunt, there will be a FREE open swim session from 7 to 8 p.m.
Registration is required and can be done online.
The View Community Center is located at 13500 Byars Road in Grandview, Missouri.
