The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Missouri Department of Conservation, and Clay County Parks Department will host Eagle Days on Jan. 9-10, 2016, at the Paradise Pointe Golf Course Clubhouse in Little Platte Park, Smithville Lake, Missouri. Operations Wildlife will present a live eagle program on Saturday at 9:30, 11, 12:30, and 2; and Sunday at 11, 12:30, and 2. Seating is first come, first served.
Federal Park Rangers, Conservation Agents, and Clay County Park Rangers will be available with spotting scopes and binoculars at the eagle viewing site.
Transportation will be provided from the Golf course complex to the eagle viewing area in the Waterfowl Refuge. Paradise Pointe Golf Course address is at 18212 Golf Course Rd. in Smithville, Missouri.
