This free dance is at a senior living facility, so I assume their objective is sales, but the party still sounds fun, and it’s open to the public. On Friday, March 19, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., The Carlyle in Lee’s Summit is hosting a free evening of dancing to the big band sound of Rudy Amato, who “captures the essence of The Golden Age of Music with tributes to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Al Joson and Louis Armstrong.” There will also be a “dessert extravaganza” that include chocolate fountains.
The dress code is casual to elegant. They’ll have a professional photographer to snap your photo.
You have to RSVP to attend this event. Call 816-665-7274.
The Carlyle is at 1098 NE Independence Avenue in Lee’s Summit.
