What the heck is a Chapman stick, you ask? At least, that’s what I was asking when I saw the ad for this free concert. I’m told that a Chapman Stick is “the equivalent of two guitars played simultaneously by tapping the strings.” Interesting.
Anyway, this Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Trevor Stewart is holding a free concert at Aquarius Books, where he’ll be playing music on the Chapman Stick.
Trevor Stewart is a musician who scores films. You may have heard his music on the “Echoes” program or on “Night Tides” (radio shows).
Aquarius Books is located at 3936 Broadway in Kansas City, Missouri.
