This Sunday, April 1, 2012, the KU School of Music will be holding a lecture concert titled “The Creation of West Side Story” in the Regnier Hall auditorium at the KU Edwards Campus. Admission is free.
This event, which starts at 2:00 p.m., will feature Professor Paul Laird, who will place each song in context of its creation and plot. The KU music students will also be performing the West Side Story songs.
The KU Edwards Campus is located at 12600 Quivira road in Overland Park, Kansas.
