On Saturday, May 2, 2015, Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm and Olathe Memorial Cemetery are holding a a Commemorate Olathe 1865 Event. Admission is free.
In 1865, Olathe citizens experienced the end of the Civil War, the first burial in the Olathe Memorial Cemetery, and the completion of the limestone Mahaffie farmhouse. Activities will help tell the story of these events.
