On Friday, September 5, 2014, Union Station is holding a 100th Anniversary Kickoff Celebration and Chiefs Red Friday Pep Rally. Admission is free.
This event, which runs from 5:00 to 9:30 p.m., features a high-tech show by Quixotic that will transform Union Station into an enormous 3D digital canvas that will soar a full ten stories tall and one city block wide. It also includes family activities; live music; an official Kansas City Chiefs Red Friday pep rally; appearances by members of the Kansas City Chiefs football team, Chiefs cheerleaders, and KC Wolf; food trucks; beverage stations; and a spectacular fireworks finale. Bring a blanket or chairs.
