This Friday, September 13, 2013, the Kansas City Power & Light District is hosting a Chiefs Red Friday Spectacular and Pep Rally. Admission is free.
The Red Friday Spectacular, which starts at 11:00 a.m. on Grand Boulevard in front of the Sprint Center, will feature performers from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Star Asian elephant, Kelly Ann, will perform special tricks, such as punting and catching Chiefs footballs. The Chiefs Cheerleaders and KC Wolf will be on hand to interact with the crowd and to pass out special giveaways.
The Pep Rally, which starts at 6:30 p.m. at KC Live!, will feature Sports Radio 810 WHB radio host Steven St. John, select Chiefs players, Chiefs cheerleaders, KC Wolf, and more.
The Kansas City Power & Light District is located in the heart of Downtown Kansas City, between Grand Boulevard and Baltimore Street, and 12th Street and Truman Road.
