The Chiefs Kingdom Champions Celebration is set for Wednesday, Feb. 15, rain, shine, snow, or sleet. This is a FREE, family-friendly event for the Kansas City community.
Chiefs Kingdom Champions Parade
The celebration kicks off at noon with a parade in downtown Kansas City.
The parade will start at noon at Grand Boulevard and Sixth Street, near Enterprise Car Rental and Grand Slam Convenience. The parade will move south on Grand until it gets to Pershing Road, where it will turn right and work to Union Station.

Chiefs Kingdom Champions Victory Rally
The rally at Union Station will last about an hour and starts right after the end of the parade, around 1:45 p.m.
Union Station will be closed from public access from Tuesday at 10 p.m. until Thursday at 6 a.m. The parade route will be shut down Tuesday at noon until Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Parking, Transportation, Getting There and Such
Anyone who went to the Kansas City Royals World Series Championship parade in 2015 knows this isn’t going to be an easy process getting to and from the celebration.
The first hurdle is the weather. The forecast shows cool temperatures – you know, typical February weather in Kansas City. Just dress like you’re going to a game at Arrowhead. Chiefs fans are hearty Midwest stock. We can do this.
There will be a lot of street closures and delays before, during and after the parade.
KC Streetcar: The Kansas City Streetcar will suspend operation beginning at 12:01am on Wednesday, February 15 and will reopen as conditions allow. Ride KC bus operations for parade day will be free with very limited service.
Paid Parking options are available at Crown Center, Union Station, National WWII Museum and Memorial. (this will fill up quickly – check their locations for costs)
KCATA: Park and Ride shuttles will run from 7:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m., and then again from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.. Riders need to return to the drop off location for their specific shuttle. Please account for possible wait times at park and ride locations. Be prepared for a minimum of a 45 minute wait at popular locations.

There will be parking restrictions along and around the parade route. These restrictions go into effect at noon on Tuesday, February 14, and extend into the late evening on Wednesday, February 15.
Cars parked in temporary no-parking zones will be relocated at the owner’s expense. Cars parked on the interstate will be relocated at the owner’s expense.
Watching the Parade
You don’t necessarily have to get out and about in downtown Kansas City to enjoy the celebration. Here are some options.
KC Live!: The parade and rally will be shown live on the KC Live! Block screen. This is a FREE family-friendly event. KC Live! Opens at 8 a.m.
Local TV Broadcasts: The local NBV affiliate KSHB-TV 41 is the official broadcast partner for the parade and will air the celebration live and stream it on kshb.com. Other local KC stations will have viewing options as well:
