Celebrate the love of reading with Altrusa International of Greater Kansas City’s award-winning Hear A Book, Take A Book project.
This FREE event for kids is part of the Merc’s Third Friday Artwalk on October 15 from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
The Hear a Book, Take a Book project is a gathering that encourages reading among kids. Geared toward pre-kindergarten through sixth grade kids, this event includes books being read aloud and a number of literacy-focused activities to stimulate reading capabilities.
