Do kids still dream of becoming pilots when they grow up? Yours might if you take them to the Aviation Adventure Day this Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Kansas City Downtown Airport. Kids ages 8-17 can go on a free flight (with parental permission). How cool is that? There will also be aircraft on display and a variety of aviation-related activities.
In addition to the aviation festivities, there will be a car cruise with classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, rat rods, exotics and imports.
Aviation Adventure Day is from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The car cruise starts at 11:00 a.m.
