Garment District Grooves concerts series happens from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. the third Wednesday of every month through October at Garment District Place in downtown Kansas City, Mo. The free lunchtime event also includes food trucks.

Food truck: Sugar Skull Grill, serving street tacos
Live music: Max Levy, Kansas City-based jazz saxophonist

River Market Melodies

River Market Melodies presents local musicians the first Thursday or every month from June through October at City Market Park. Concerts are 6 to 8 p.m.

• August 6, 2026: Elwood and the Blues Masters (Kansas City blues ensemble presented in partnership with the Kansas City Blues Society).
• September 3, 2026: Womanish Girl (high-energy duo blending traditional blues roots with indie rock & roll).
• October 1, 2026: Eboni Fondren Quartet (dynamic jazz arrangements and powerhouse vocals).
