This summer, the City of Lee’s Summit is putting on FREE and Cheap Summer Shows and Concerts at Legacy Park Amphitheater.
For the events that require tickets, there’s small concenience fee for buying them in advance. The site doesn’t say if you can buy them at the gate instead, but I’m sure some of these will likely sell out before the night of the show anyway.
The shows start at varying times and on different days of the week. Here’s the schedule:
Tuesday, June 5 (10 a.m.): Aladdin and the Magic Lamp
Thursday, June 14 ( 2 p.m.): Exotics R Us
Friday, June 15 (7 p.m.): Flashback to Folk – The Mama’s and the Papa’s
Saturday, June 30 (7 p.m.): The Landsharks: Beach Boys Tribute Band ($10)
Friday, July 6 (8:30 p.m.): Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Monday, July 16 (3:30 p.m.): The Spoon Man
Friday, July 20 (7 p.m.): Jamaican Jam
Thursday, July 26 (2 p.m.): Rock the Library/AMP with Mr. Stinky Feet
Saturday, (7 p.m.) July 28: Illusionist Andy Gross ($12)
Friday, August 3 (6:30 p.m.): Blues Fest
Friday, August 10 (7 p.m.): Petty Theft & Journeyman ($10)
Friday August 17 (8:20 p.m.): We Bought a Zoo
Friday, September 15 (7 p.m.): The Legends of Legacy Concert – Shooter Jennings with Ben Haggard ($)
