A FREE basketball camp hosted by NBA player and Kansas City native Alec Burks puts on a full-court press of fun and training for kids in grades first through ninth.
Alec Burks Basketball Academy is offering a FREE, half-day basketball camp Friday, June 28 at Grandview Senior High School, 2300 High Grove Road, Grandview, MO. There are two sessions available based on age:
- Grades 1-5: 9 a.m. – noon – register here
- Grades 6-9: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. – register here
Coaches will work with players to perfect offensive moves, sharpen ball handling skills and advance their overall understanding of the game.
Alec Burks is a current NBA player who was born and raised in the Kansas City area. He was drafted by the Utah Jazz and now plays for the Sacramento Kings.
