Get ready, Kansas City! The Westport Entertainment District is celebrating Oktoberfest this weekend, September 28 through October 1, 2017. Admission is FREE.
This four-day festival includes live music and entertainment, beer sampling, special beer tappings, a stein hoisting competition, a 5k run, German-style foods, food trucks, and more.
Saturday is a family-friendly day. Enjoy arts and crafts, weiner dog races, German dance lessons, a Sausage Fest, and more.
Oktoberfest will be held in the Westport Entertainment District along Pennsylvania Avenue and Westport Road.
