This Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., watch as professional chefs and culinary students compete to create the best ice sculpture at the Eighth Annual Winter Ice Fest, which will be held on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City.
Here’s the schedule:
- 11:00 a.m: Live ice carving begins
- 1:30 p.m: Ice sculptures are completed, judging begins
- 2:30 p.m: Prizes will be awarded to the winning sculpture
Starbucks will be offering coffee samples to help keep you warm.
This event will be held outside on Nichols Road, between Broadway and Central Street. Event parking is available in the garage behind Starbucks and Classic Cup.
