This Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Kansas City Corvette Association and Superior Chevrolet will be holding their annual “Vettes on the Square” car show on the historic square in Independence, Missouri. Admission is free.
This year, the club is planning a special display that they hope will include one car from each year that Corvettes have been manufactured, from 1953 to 2011. The cars will be parked in a lot on the corner of Liberty and Maple, lined up by year.
In addition to the car show, this event includes vendors, door prizes, a silent auction, a 50/50 cash pot (half goes to the winner, half goes to charity), and raffles.
Proceeds will benefit Camp Quality, USA.
