On select Sundays during the summer of 2017, the Kansas City Power & Light District is hosting Urbana: A Downtown Street Scene on 14th Street between Main and Walnut. Admission is FREE.
Here’s a blurb about the event from the Power & Light District Facebook page:
“Urbana KC is a downtown street scene happening on select Sundays throughout the summer. We’ve re-imagined a familiar city block and kept out the cars so you can eat and drink under the stars, hear live music, see public art displays and share a uniquely Kansas City summer experience, all in the heart of the Kansas City Power & Light District neighborhood.”
This event runs from 4 to 8 p.m. I don’t see a schedule yet beyond June 11 and June 25. I’ll try to keep an eye out for future dates.
