Grab your bikes and your helmets! This Saturday, June 9, 2018, Leawood Parks & Recreation and the Leawood Police Department host Stride ‘N Ride, an event to promote healthy lifestyles for your family. Stride ‘N Ride takes place at Leawood City Park and admission is FREE.
Activities will be available for all levels of cyclists, walkers, and runners. They include:
- Learn to Ride (new riders)
- Riding Skills Course (ages 7-10)
- Mountain Bike Trail Ride
- Family Bike Ride
- Escorted Bike Ride
There will also be live music, a scavenger hunt, a BMX stunt jump demonstration, bike demos, helmet fitting and sales, information booths, free trail maps, food trucks with healthy options ($), and more.
Stride ‘N Ride hours are 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Leawood City Park is located at 10601 Lee Boulevard in Leawood, Kansas.
