This Saturday, April 13, 2013, the Kansas City Soap Box Derby is hosting a “Rookie Day” for kids ages 7-20. Admission is free.
This event, which runs from noon to 4:00 p.m., includes a chance to try out one of their race cars and earn your soap box derby driver’s license. There will also be free concessions (hot dogs, chips, and drinks). You may want to bring a chair.
The Kansas City Soap Box Derby track is located at 4600 Eastern Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri.
