On Monday, September 7, 2015, the Kansas City Symphony will be holding a Labor Day concert called “Pops in the Park” at the Theatre in the Park in Shawnee Mission Park. Admission is free.
The gates open at 4:30 p.m. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m. There will be an Instrument Petting Zoo at 5:00 p.m. and pre-concert entertainment by the Youth Symphony of Kansas City at 6:00 p.m. Bring a blanket or chairs.
The Theatre in the Park is located at 7710 Renner Road in Shawnee, Kansas.
