A traditional celebration happens at the annual Parkville Fourth of July celebration on Saturday, July 4th.
Admission is FREE, but there is a cost for some activities.
Parkville’s traditional salute to Independence Day includes a pancake breakfast, a community parade, food, fun, shopping, kids activities, a skydiving exhibition, and our Fireworks Finale at 9:30 pm.
Parkville 4th of July Celebration Schedule
7:30–10:30 AM : Pancake breakfast
10 a.m.: Parkville 4th of July parade. The parade grandstand is at 1st & Main Street with Independence Day trivia & giveaways starting at 10:00 AM.
6 p.m.: Face painting and food vendors near the Farmer’s Market
8:45 p.m.: Falcon Skydiving Exhibition
9:30 p.m.: 4th of July Fireworks at Platte Landing Park. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for the show.
Parkville 4th of July Parking & Transportation
Bring your lawn chairs, family, and festive spirit! The best views for the show are at the baseball field (south of the City Parking Lot), Main Street, or English Landing Park.
Free shuttle service to Downtown Parkville runs from 6:00–11:00 PM with pick-up and drop-off at South Platte YMCA.
