On Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 5:00 p.m., the Kansas Ciy Power & Light District is hosting a March Madness Tipoff party. Admission is free. All ages are welcome.
This celebration, which they’re calling “Start March…Where the Road Begins,” will include local pep bands, spirit squads, the illumination of a giant basketball, and Happy Hour specials.
Fans are encouraged to wear their team colors.
The Power & Light District is located across from the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
