Local Ruckus is holding its official launch party on Friday, October 14, 2011, in the Kansas City Power & Light District at KC Live! Admission is free, but this is a fundraiser for Harvesters. So a $5 donation or a donation of 5 canned goods is encouraged.
This event includes performances by eight Kansas City bands, drink specials, giveaways, and free Ruckus t-shirts for the first 300 people who donate.
The party runs from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. It’s open to all ages until 9:00 p.m. After 9:00 p.m., you must be 21+.
The Power & Light District is located across from the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
