This Saturday, May 12, 2012, the Lee’s Summit Farmer’s Market is hosting a Spring Celebration. Admission is free.
This event includes live music and other entertainment, kettle corn, and kids’ activities. The first 100 kids to arrive will get to plant and decorate pots. There will also be in-season produce and plants, jams, jellies, baked goods, meat, eggs and a variety of handmade crafts available for purchase.
The celebration runs from 7:00 a.m. to noon.
The Lee’s Summit Farmers Market is located at the corner of Second and Douglas Streets in downtown Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
