Celebration at the Station is one of the largest FREE Memorial Day Weekend concerts in the Midwest and it is happening right here in Kansas City.
Celebration at the Station happens Sunday, May 29 on the grounds of Union Station and the World War I Museum and Memorial. Admission is FREE.
Event activities include a FREE concert by the Kansas City Symphony as well as food trucks, pre-concert entertainment and vendor booths.
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Picnics are encouraged and there is plenty of food to purchase on site. Pets, glass containers and alcohol are NOT allowed at Celebration at the Station.
Celebration at the Station Schedule:
5 p.m.: Site opens to the public.
5 p.m.: A la Mode performs on the Main Stage
6 p.m.: KC Symphony musicians perform on the Mobile Music Box stage
6:30 p.m.: United States Air Force Band of Mid-America Airlifter Brass performs on the Main Stage
8 p.m.: KC Symphony begins Bank of America Celebration at the Station program on the Main Stage
8 p.m.: Kansas City PBS live broadcast begins on Channel 19.1
9:30 p.m.: Fireworks begin over the National WWI Museum and Memorial
