This FREE community event offers fun and activities for all ages on Independence Day.
Bake up your best because the VillageFest Pie Baking Contest featuring made-from-scratch pies is back.
Prizes are given in several categories and as a grand prize. This year, the contest takes place inside City Hall. Judging begins at 9 a.m. and winners are announced by 10:30 a.m.
VillageFest Schedule of Events:
7:30 – 11 a.m.: Pancake breakfast at the park pavilion – $6 per person.
9 a.m. – 1 p.m.: FREE activities for kids; includes face painting, carnival rides, ponies, a petting zoo, bounce houses and more.
Noon – 6 p.m.: FREE swim at the Prairie Village pool.
