On Saturday, May 3, 2014, Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm is holding a Playing on the Prairie event. Admission is free.
This event, which runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., includes crafts (leather stamping, clothespin dolls, planting a sunflower seed, rainsticks, bow and arrow, trading post), 1860s Living History activities (butter churning, laundry, games, gold panning, visiting the Mahaffie house), demonstrations, stagecoach rides ($2), animals, and more.
