Shawnee Parks & Recreation has made the decision to cancel the 2020 PARKED event. They have planned the next one for Friday, June 25, 2021.
Shawnee Parks and Recreation is hosting the 3rd annual PARKED event from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Stump Park. Come and enjoy a live 80s cover band, a kids’ zone, food and fireworks. Entry to the event is FREE.
You’re welcome (and encouraged) to bring your picnic blankets and chairs. No outside food and water are allowed, but WaterOne will be onsite handing out FREE cold water. Most food trucks accept debit and credit cards, but cash is probably the fastest option. Once again, The Other Place is on hand with beer and wine. Here’s a list of food options you can expect:

Parking is limited so carpool, ride share or bike if you can. A shuttle service begins at 5:30 p.m. from Mill Valley High School. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
