The City of Overland Park and the Downtown Overland Park Partnership present the annual Overland Park Fall Festival Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019.
This community celebration is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes live entertainment, an arts and crafts fair, kids’ activities, a parade through downtown, food vendors, a farmers’ market, and more.
IMPORTANT: Because the Santa Fe Commons Park is under renovation, this year’s fall festival will be held around Farmers’ Market Pavilion in Downtown Overland Park.
Overland Park Fall Festival Activities
8 a.m.: Farmers’ Market opens
8 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Arts and craft fair – 100+ artisans participating
10 a.m.: Fall Festival Parade – a lineup of high school bands, scout groups, local businesses, classic cars, dance troupes and more.
Ongoing all day:
- Free concerts on multiple stages
- Food trucks
- Face painting
- Children’s entertainment and interactive shows
Parking and shuttles
Some parking is available along the streets and in public parking lots in Downtown Overland Park. Some parking lots and streets will be closed the day of the event. Street closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Parking will be available at Shawnee Mission West High School, and a shuttle will run every 15-20 minutes from the school to Conser and 80th Street at the InterUrban Art House. The shuttle will run from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
