On Saturday, June 17, 2017, the City of Leawood is holding its annual Duck Derby in Gezer Park. Admission is FREE for spectators. Entry fees are $5 for one duck; $8 for two; $10 for three.
Dino O’Dell will be playing, beginning at 10 a.m. There will also be face painting and light refreshments from Corner Bakery Cafe. The derby will start at 11:30 a.m. Up to 500 ducks will compete to see which one is the first to get to the pond.
Gezer Park is located at 133rd and Mission Road.
