Each school year, the Theater Department at Johnson Community College comes out with a new season of shows. They consist of musicals, classic and contemporary works, and children’s plays. All performances are free to the public on a first-come-first-seated basis.
This weekend, March 10-12, 2017, the JCCC Theater Department will perform a classic, ancient Aztec children’s story “La Culebra” by Pamela Gerke. The story shows what happens when a kind farmer saves the life of a snake. All ages are welcome.

- Sunday, March 12th: 2 p.m., 4 p.m.
The next show will be “Assassins” by Stephen Sondheim. It’s about nine people who either assassinated or tried to assassinate a U.S. president. Recommended for ages 14 and up.

Both shows are at JCCC’s Bodker Black Box Theater, which is located at 12345 College Boulevard in Overland Park, Kansas.
