The First LEGO League Championships will be held Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at Union Station in Kansas City. Admission is free.
First LEGO League is a robotics program for students ages 9-14. Teams are assigned a design challenge and a LEGO MindStorms kit which they use to design, build, and program their robot. Each FIRST season culminates in an international robotics competition.
This event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Four FIRST programs in the Kansas City area provide workshops and other events for young people 6 to 18, letting them work with professional mentors to explore STEM careers (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) by designing and build robots together. Find out more here.
