Now through Easter, a lot of Kansas City diners will be looking for restaurant specials featuring fish, seafood or meatless entrees every Friday.
Here are some local fish and vegetarian-friendly specials you can indulge in without foregoing good taste or your budget.
Arby’s: Catch two crispy fish sandwiches for $6 at participating Arby’s restaurants. The offer is for a limited time, but we suspect you can dive into this one until Easter.
Bonefish Grill: You can enjoy fresh fish and seafood specials any day of the week through April 12. Featured deals include choices of fish, seafood and sides.
City Fish & More: This seafood and soul restaurant in Kansas City, KS has plenty of options, but one of the best and most popular deal is the $12.49 Fish & Shrimp combo with four shrimp, a half-pound of fish, fries and hush puppies.
Denny’s: It’s not seafood, but it’s not meat either. You can fill up on all-you-can eat pancakes from Denny’s value menu for $4.
Hen House: Feed a group of four with Hen House’s Friday Fish Fillet carryout dinner. For $20 you get baked or fried swai fillets, macaroni and cheese or mashed potatoes, gravy, garden salad, four biscuits and a creme cake for dessert.
Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que: Leave it to Kansas City to come up with Lent-friendly options at a BBQ restaurant. Joe’s Kansas City is offering meatless versions of the Z-Man and a soft-shell crab po’ boy sandwich.
On the Border: The all-you-can-eat taco special is available through March 8. For an additional $2.99 you can upgrade to the Beyond Meat option.
