Do you have what it takes to traverse through Kansas City’s only haunted forest?
Exiled Trail of Terrors Haunted House is open during the month of October to provide a haunted house hike of horror in the dark woods of Bonner Springs. Hikes are scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights on the following weekends:
- Oct. 2-3, 7:30 p.m. to midnight
- Oct. 9-10, 7:30 p.m. to midnight
- Oct. 16-17, 7 p.m. to midnight
- Oct. 23-24, 7 p.m. to midnight
- Oct. 30-31, 7 p.m. to midnight
This haunted house attraction is not for everyone. It’s a rugged one mile hike along a dark trail. There’s also some crawling, bending and climbing involved. You’ll get dirty, sweaty and scared as you trek through the woods filled with frightening freaks.
Participants should be at least 12 years old. Your group will be given a small red LED light to help you find your way through the woods. No flashlights, mobile phone lights, photography or other light sources are allowed. And don’t even think about wearing anything other than closed toe shoes.
Exiled Trail of Terrors Admission
Hikes are $40 on Fridays and $50 on Saturdays.
The on-site box-office opens at 6 p.m. but it’s highly recommended you buy Exiled Trail of Terrors tickets online in advance to guarantee your time slot.
To avoid large crowds and cut down on wait times, Exiled Trail of Terrors is doing a timed entry for each hike. When buying your ticket, you’ll need to pick out a date and time. You will only be allowed in the line during your time slot.
Face masks are required while standing in line and during the haunt.
