This Thursday, February 21, 2013, Union Station is hosting a live concert in the lobby of The Science of Rock ‘N’ Roll exhibit. For a discounted price of $10, you’ll get to see the exhibit and the concert. The band is The Rumblejetts.
The exhibit will give you a look at the history of rock from the perspective of science and technology. You’ll learn how technology had shaped the rock and roll industry, how performers can bring hundreds of thousands of screaming fans to their feet, what physiological effects rock has on the brain and body, and more.
Exhibit hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. They’re closed on Mondays.
Union Station is located at 30 W. Pershing Road in Kansas City, Missouri.
