Go during the day
Morning showtimes and movies before 6 PM are often discounted by quite a bit! If you can go earlier in the day, you can save a few dollars off the ticket pricing.
Be patient
While you might want to be the first to see the movie, some theaters offer discount days for cheaper ticket prices. AMC Theatres offers blockbuster savings on Discount Tuesdays is an excellent example of that!
The discount applies to any Tuesday showtime, even if you purchase tickets in advance. Special events are excluded. Surcharges will apply to premium format experiences, including Dolby Cinema, IMAX, PRIME, RealD 3D, and D-Box. However, advance purchases made on Tuesdays for any other day of the week are not eligible for savings.
