Have you ever wanted to travel back in time? Take this opportunity to step back into the late 1800’s and spend the Day Out with Frank & Ella at the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm on May 31 and June 1, 2017.
Admission is $5 per child and includes a stagecoach ride. One free adult admission for one paid youth admission. (Optional: $2 for a stagecoach ride for each free adult. Additional adults are $5).
Frank and Ella were the youngest of the Mahaffie children. Activities they would have experience during the Civil War period include camping, marching drills, and cannon drills. Visitors will also have the opportunity to visit Frank and Ella’s home and barn, see the animals, ride the stagecoach and watch blacksmith demonstrations.
My kids and I always enjoy our trips to Mahaffie. It’s a truly amazing place.
Hours of operation are 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
The Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm Historic Site is located at 1200 East Kansas City Road in Olathe, Kansas.
