Freeland Photography and The Legal Center for New Families, both of Lee’s Summit, have teamed up to present the 2015 “Oh, Baby Cutest Baby Contest,” in search of the Greater Kansas City metro area’s most adorable bundle of joy. The contest, open to legal residents of Missouri and Kansas, will be conducted primarily via Facebook.
To participate in the contest, parents may upload one recent amateur photograph of their baby—age 18 months or younger— by March 31, 2015. The submitted photographs will subsequently be uploaded to The Legal Center for New Family’s Facebook page for voting (once you enter, they’ll email you a link that will allow you to view the gallery with your photo and share it on your own Facebook page). Voting will continue through noon on April 15, when the top 10 babies with the most “likes” will be named semifinalists and move to the final round of the competition.
Voting for the grand prize winner will take place via Facebook and in person at Freeland Photography’s studio between May 1 and May 29, 2015. The baby receiving the most combined Facebook likes (on Freeland Photography’s and The Legal Center for New Families’ Facebook pages) and in-studio votes by noon on May 29 will earn the title of the “Cutest Baby Ever”; a free Baby Plan photo package (valued at $975) from Freeland Photography; and a free Family Protection Plan (valued at $499) or $499 off the estate plan package of their choice from The Legal Center for New Families. Additionally, Freeland and The Legal Center for New Families will donate $1 per entry for the first 1,000 entries to Hillcrest Transitional Housing, a charitable organization that helps homeless youth, single adults and families transition to self-sufficiency.
