Kids’ summer camps can cost upward of $300 per week, so the Kansas City Museum’s summer workshops look like a bargain to me at $60 per 4-day week, or $15 per day. The workshops, for those 7-12 years old, teach kids about the cultures that make the Kansas City community unique. Kids will listen to stories and music, look at art, and taste foods from different Kansas City cultures.
There are two sessions: July 13-16 and July 20-23. Both run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Preregistration is required. Register online.
