President Harry S. Truman would’ve been 135 years old on May 8th this year. In honor of Truman’s birthday, several museums and attractions in the former president’s hometown of Independence, Missouri are offering $1 admission all day on Sunday, May 5, 2019.

- National Frontier Trails Museum
- Vaile Mansion
- Bingham-Waggoner Estate
- Chicago & Alton Depot
- 1859 Jail and Marshall Home
