Did you know that the game of baseball was invented in 1839? Fast forward 30 years. This Saturday, April 1, 2017, Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm is hosting Baseball: 1860’s Style.
Admission is $7 for adults; $5 for children ages 5 to 11; children 4 and under are free. Olathe residents receive $2 off admission.
From 1-3 p.m. watch the Mahaffie Stagecoach Drivers compete against Westerns Base Ball Club of Topeka. Other activities include a visit to the museum and barn, 19th century games, blacksmith and cooking demonstrations, horse-powered plowing, live animals, and stagecoach rides.
Stagecoach Ride Times:

- 12:30 p.m.
- 1:30 p.m.
- 2:30 p.m.
- 3:30 p.m.
Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm Historic Site is located at 1200 East Kansas City Road in Olathe, Kansas.
