This sounds like a different type of festival. On Saturday, September 11, 2010 (rain date September 18) the Kansas City Community Gardens is hosting a Fall Family Festival that will include:
- Face painting
- Gourd painting
- Scavenger hunt
- Bug/worm station
- Seedling transplant
- Peanut butter making
- Cotton spinning/weaving
- Demonstrations
The festival runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Kansas City Community Gardens, 6917 Kensington, in Kansas City, Missouri (in Swope Park, one block north of Kensington and Gregory). Admission is $2.
