On Friday, February 2, 2017, the American Heart Association is holding its annual “Red Dress Dash” in the Kansas City Power & Light District. Admission is FREE. The first 150 attendees will also get a FREE t-shirt.
Girls (or guys), throw on your warmest red dress (or other attire) to join the Red Dress Dash in support of women’s heart health. The event will feature a quick 4-block dash in the Power & Light District. It will be followed by photo booths, face painting, and music by DJ Ashton Martin.
There will also be a performance by Melinda Ryder of Hamburger Mary’s Kansas City, drink and appetizer specials at McFadden’s for Dash attendees, and a “Red Dress Diva” award, which will go to the woman or man who sports the best red dress during the dash.
Hours are from 5 to 9 p.m.
