As the national grapples with toilet paper hoarders you may hear the plea “hey buddy, can you spare a square?”
Crocs, manufacturer of iconic shoes by the same name, is taking it from a different angle: share a pair.
The shoe company is donating a FREE pair of its iconic shoes to frontline health workers, in a show of support for their heroic efforts in these challenging times.
According to the Crocs Facebook page, 10,000 pairs are given away each day. Here’s how you can get a set for yourself, provided you’re a doctor, nurse, paramedic or other frontline provider in the health field.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Visit the Crocs giveaway page at 11 a.m. on any weekday.
- Click on the “Continue to Request” button to be placed in a virtual queue. If the button isn’t shown, it means the offer limit has been reached for the day.
- When you get to the front of the queue, you’ll be asked to provide your work email, state and facility name. After that, you’ll pick your preference for shoes, plus size and shipping information. Colors, styles, and quantities are subject to availability.
Set your watch and be ready to visit the page right at 11 a.m. CDT because this offer is popular. The daily limit on FREE shoes runs out fast.
If your work scheduled doesn’t allow you to be online at noon you can recruit a friend or family member to enter for you. Be sure to give them all the information they need so you can get in line for your FREE pair of Crocs.
The process could take a while. Comments on their Facebook page indicated some waits were up to an hour.
If you don’t score a FREE pair of Crocs you can take advantage of the current sale. Right now, Crocs is offering 30% off Crocs work shoes and select spring crocs. With the discount, several styles of work crocs are just $28.
