In order to ensure voters are able to get to the polls, Kansas City Regional Transit is providing FREE bus rides to voters on all RideKC bus routes serving Kansas City, Johnson County, Wyandotte County, and Independence on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.
“Exercising the right to vote is so important that we want to make it as easy as possible to get to the polls,” said KCATA President and CEO Robbie Makinen. “We are grateful to our regional transit partners in Johnson County, Independence and KCK for agreeing to again make this a truly regional transit initiative.”
To find the correct bus route to your polling location, call 816-221-0660 (between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays) and provide your starting address and the address of your polling place.
