Happy back-to-school season to all of our awesome, hard-working teachers out there. Science City invites all educators to their Teacher Appreciation Weekend on Saturday, Aug. 24 and Sunday, Aug. 24.
This once-a-year-event is free and gives educators a chance to explore Science City and the Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium. Teachers can also get up to three family members in for free as well. Additional tickets can be purchased at the discounted group rate. (Science City $8.25, Planetarium $4).
While there is no cost, teachers must register and indicate the number of family members joining them. Get signed up here.
Teachers’ free admission on Teachers Appreciation Weekend also includes:
- A FREE ticket to the Stonehenge exhibit. Your guests can buy Stonehenge tickets for the discounted group rate of $10.25 per ticket.
- A parking voucher for the Union Station Parking Garage
- USB flash drive loaded with education materials
- Entries into prize drawings (KC memorabilia, event tickets, gift cards and more)
