Spring is officially here! It’s time to start thinking about beautifying our yards and gardens. Get some “green” and environmentally-friendly inspiration and advice at the 10th annual Healthy Yards Expo at the Shawnee Civic Centre this Saturday, April 6, 2019. Admission is FREE.
The Healthy Yards Expo features speakers and seminars about landscaping, flower and vegetable gardening, native plants and more. Attendees will also have an opportunity to speak with master gardeners, local garden societies, and Lenexa, Shawnee and Overland Park city representatives. Kids activities include a Stone Lion Puppets show and make & take crafts.
The first 100 people will receive a FREE tree seedling. The first 500 people will receive FREE native plants to try in their gardens. Residents of Johnson County can get a FREE soil test.
This event is from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
